The Grace Minnix Higher Education Scholarship Program was created to recognize the role played by first National President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (now the VFW Auxiliary) from West Virginia, Grace Minnix, of Belle.  An amazing role model and mentor to many, Mrs. Minnix dedicated over 50 years to the VFW Auxiliary.  This program is our small way of saying thank you and to commemorate the woman who has influenced our organization for many years and will continue to do so in the future.
